“Issue: A point in dispute, a question awaiting decision.” Chambers English Dictionary

In a fast-moving and globalised business environment, issues can turn into crisis overnight – and crises that escalate from issues are more likely to have a negative impact on your reputation and damage your business. Knowing the worst – and providing for it – are essential survival skills for modern organisations.

On the other hand, issues managed well can create opportunity – for instance to be seen as thought leaders in your sector, or to be regarded as an employer of choice.

Our consultants will arrange a series of interviews with managers and others across all areas and disciplines in your organisation, to gain an understanding of the factors – internal and external – that may give rise to issues needing to be managed.

Having identified your issues, we can also help you prioritise them, according to which are most likely to escalate and which are likely to cause most damage – i.e. to evaluate the risk.

If you wish, we can also make recommendations about possible responses, both in terms of action and in terms of messaging.

And we can help you establish a system of monitoring and evaluation, to provide some future-proofing.
