This highly challenging two-day Communicating wit Impact programme is designed to help delegates realise their potential as influential communicators.

The aim is to develop maximum influence and impact when speaking in public; making formal and informal presentations internally or externally; or conducting meetings with clients, suppliers, or colleagues.

The precise programme and its content focus will depend on organisational and individual needs. We can design it to suit you.

Outcomes Typical Programme

All exercises are recorded on video to enhance review.

Delegates will receive robust but supportive feedback and practical advice on how to develop their skills. Colleagues are invited to contribute positively to feedback. There will also be a book of guidance notes to take away.

DAY ONE

Exercises likely to include

The One-minute challenge: An initial look at personal impact and communication styles, using an approach to the ‘elevator pitch.’

Business Presentation: A formal or semi-formal presentation, prepared in advance to a supplied brief.

In the light of feedback on this session, delegates will be required to revise their presentation for Day Two.

Question time: Delegates face searching, challenging and even aggressive questions from the consultants and from their colleagues.

Content likely to include: DAY TWO

Exercises likely to include

Business Presentation revisited: A chance for delegates to demonstrate their personal learning from Day One through a revised version of their initial presentation. Focus will be on impact, empathy and influence through verbal and non-verbal means.

One-on-one meetings: Delegates are challenged to transfer their learning into a more intimate and informal setting – the face-to-face meeting. This will involve role-play based on a scenario supplied by the participant.

Content likely to include: Consultants: Magnus Carter and Tina Coulsting BOOK NOW:Contact Claire Harrington for a free quote and proposal.
