Communicating with Impact - Advanced
This highly challenging Communicating with Impact programme is designed to help participants realise their potential as influential communicators.
The aim is to develop maximum influence and impact when speaking in public; making formal and informal presentations internally or externally; or conducting meetings with clients, suppliers, or colleagues. It can include presenting when cameras are present, preparing for webinars and handling difficult questions.

Typical Programme
A typical programme for Directors and Senior Managers may be delivered over one or two days and could include:
- The one-minute challenge: An initial look at personal impact and communication styles, using an approach to the ‘elevator pitch.’
- Business Presentation: A formal or semi-formal presentation, prepared in advance to a supplied brief.
- Chairing and particpating in a panel discussion - with cameras present for possible addition to website
- Question time: Delegates face searching, challenging and even aggressive questions on their chosen topic.
- Media Handling: Delegates practice TV and/or Radio interviews
- Webinars and Podcasts: Camera and voice techniques
- One-on-one meetings: Delegates are challenged to transfer their learning into a more intimate and informal setting – the face-to-face meeting. This will involve role-play based on a scenario supplied by the participant.
- Business Presentation revisited: A chance for delegates to demonstrate their personal learning from Day One through a revised version of their initial presentation. Focus will be on impact, empathy and influence through verbal and non-verbal means.
- Any other communication scenario you would like to practice.
